Lawrence assessed our needs for better water pressure and provided expert recommendations for how best to get what we needed. He fitted a new hot water cylinder which has solved our issue and we were really impressed with his expertise and professionalism as well as how spotless he left our home after he finished! Would highly recommend.

I've been using Taylor Plumbing consistently for every boiler service and repair since I purchased my house 6 years ago. In that time, I've interacted with several of the technicians, and all of them have been polite, friendly, and informative when explaining issues whilst also being very reasonably priced. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber, electrician, or boiler service/repair.

Lawrence has been taking care of us since we moved into this house a couple of years ago, and it's always a pleasure to have him by. I've used Taylor plumbing to install a smart thermostat in my house and also to service my boiler. Lawrence recommended a brand, Tado that works really well. The app is simple and I know that i am saving money because the app tells me how much I have saved from using the away feature.

I have used Lawrence from Taylor Plumbing on several occasions and he is a reliable, knows his stuff and once he even came late at night to look at a problem with our boiler! He is very skilled and trained to work on not only standard gas boilers but electrical stuff, oil heating and commercial heating.

Laurence did a great job of diagnosing the old broken boiler and advising on our new boiler install.

We have just recently had our central heating upgraded by the removal of a conventional gas boiler and hot water tank and replaced with a combi boiler. At the same time we have had thermostatic valves attached to the radiators throughout the house. The whole transition took just over three days and the work was carried out in a very professional and efficient manner with very little inconvenience to our daily routine.
Having lived in the same house for 25 years I have to say the heating now is a great improvement on what it has been throughout this time and it is just a shame that we didn't have the job done before!
We have used Taylor plumbing to attend a few other plumbing issues and boiler / gas fire services in recent years and I would thoroughly recommend them without hesitation.

We moved to a house a year ago and were given no instructions on the heating system which is quite complicated. Laurence was able to figure it all out for us and got us able to use it quickly. He has since serviced our boilers and has always been responsive to my messages. I would recommend him without hesitation for professional service and a nice guy to boot!

We had specific requirements for an electric oven and a gas hob to be fit. Lawrence from Taylor Pickering is a qualified electrician and heating engineer, and was able to meet those requirements. He was on time, was polite and professional, was tidy and most importantly completed the work to an exceptional standard of quality and safety. I cannot recommend this company enough!

Lawrence and Jay fitted a boiler on one of my rental properties last year. Last minute request as boiler had died leaving tenants and young child without heat or hot water in the winter. Obviously plumbers are very busy in the winter months, yet the boiler was replaced at a reasonable cost and less than a week after the breakdown. All went perfectly without too much inconvenience for the tenants. Lawrence kept me updated with progress during the installation. 😊 very pleased.

We had a continual problem of the central heating system taking in air. Taylor Pickering knew the solution , create a sealed system ,including an expansion tank, so it cannot gulp in any more air. Once installed this sealed system made a dramatic improvement to the performance of the heating system., The radiators heat up much quicker and get hotter than before. An excellent service , thanks

After a phone consultation regarding the frankly ridiculous amount of limescale in my new kettle, it was decided a limescale filter was required on the main water supply to my house. It wasn’t just the kettle, the taps and coffee machine were all showing signs of heavy limescale. I can only imagine what this is doing to the inside of the boiler.

The engineer showed up on time and set to work. In just under an hour the filter was fitted, and as with every Taylor Pickering job, there was no mess!

And the result?

ZERO Limescale in my kettle!!
