Really pleased with the work carried out by Plumbox (boiler installation) and would highly recommend them. Excellent service: super responsive, friendly and explained things fully and clearly - did exactly what they said they would in a timely, professional manner. I'm very happy with my boiler!

Weve had a fantastic experience using Plumbox. Michael was extremely courteous and listened to our preferences during our initial consultation and made sure the installation of our new boiler and radiators ran smoothly. The pipe work that Curtis installed for the boiler was very neatly done. Curtis and Kai were exceptionally, respectful, professional and polite always - never have we dealt with such a courteous plumbing company, which includes great communication from Ciaran in the office. Fantastically, they tidy and clear up every day, taking away the waste, no need for a skip, which was much appreciated. Extremely punctual and reliable.

We wanted our en-suite bathroom reworked, and Plumbox were recommended by a friend. From the very outset they made sensible advice on how we might best achieve what we wanted in the most economical way, helping us with the design, and putting us in touch with the supplier. The job was started on the agreed date. They were very tidy and cleaned up every evening. They said the job would take a week, but took 8 days. The delay was waiting for a final part to arrive. We had a few teething problems (not their fault) but they returned promptly and solved the problem. The contract price was below what we expected, and the job was brilliantly executed on time. Would recommend without hesitation or reservation

We have used Plumbox to install a water softening system for our home. Michael adiced us on the best/most efficient solution and came out simples and less expensive than the alternative bid. They were on time for the appointment, did a great job and .left everything clean.

We have been really pleased with the work carried out by Plumbox. We would especially like to commend Adam who re-fitted our en-suite. He was very polite and considerate. Adam also took pride in his work and attention to detail. The only criticism we have is the communication with Michael and the Plumbox General Office. They were very aware that this was not always as good as it should be but despite this I have no hesitation in recommending Plumbox. I would also recommend Adam as a person who could be depended to complete the work to a high standard. I am happy to give Plumbox 5 stars for Adam's hard work.

As with any work requests I always research 3 or so reputable traders. On calling Plumbox I spoke with Ciaran. Ciaran was friendly, professional and informative. I decided to go with Plumbox in the end. The friendly reception drew me to Plumbox. The plumber was on time, quick to carry out the annual boiler service. I would recommend Plumbox and would also use them again.

Fixed a leak in bathroom when they said they would. Had to move a lot and rip a lot out to get to where the leak had damaged but the bathroom looks exactly as it used to as a consequence and the leak is fixed. Pleasant to deal with and came round exactly when thy said they would.

Use Plumbox! Michael and his team are exceptional. I've worked with tradesman for 25yrs and Plumbox have shown themselves to be above the rest. Highly recommended.

Plumbox did a great job at resolving my shower pump issue. The my house had an incorrectly fitted shower pump which stopped working after I had moved in. Not knowing anything about plumbing or shower systems, it was great to have the issues explained clearly to me, for the work to be carried out quickly. The communication from Plumbox was great and they were always happy to answer my questions. Will definitely use them again.

Installed a new whole central heating system (gas pipes, combi boiler, radiator), gas cooker and outside water taps. Really happy with the service and information throughout the process from quote to completion. Michael is very responsive and get in touch with us the whole time.

The fact I like most is that it's easier to get in touch with him (who is in charge) directly and customise your needs even in the middle of the installation, unlike big companies where you ask a question and it takes ages to get back and you only speak to the admin/receptionist and cannot speak directly to the person in charge. You can ask questions and opinions from him. They will explain to you which is most suitable for your needs. During the installation, we requested to upgrade one of the radiators, and install an outside tap at the front of the house, which was done quickly. We also requested to customise the combi boiler and flue location and the way it is attached to the wall and also to upgrade the wireless control to Google Nest, which Michael agreed to do it straightaway.

Price wise, the quote is very reasonable compared to others and the radiators used are of good quality. You will know if you shop around and ask quote from others.

The installation time is great although it took just one more day than expected. But this is due to the fact that they are installing a whole new system (not just replacing old rads or boiler). They explained that they want to get it right in the first place rather than rushing to finish it, and then homeowner faces with issues later down the line. I prefer this way and I can see his whole team is doing their best. When I am writing this review, it's almost 3 weeks since completion. And I don't see any issue like leaks or gas smell or such.

They took extra care during the installation to control dirts and dusts like laying plastic sheets throughout, covering items as needed, vaccuming at the end of each day, etc. They cleared everything after completion including the old hot water tank, loft cold water tank and all old pipes.

Right from the start we were pleased with the attention we received from Michael who listened carefully to our requirements and came up with a solution which met what we wanted and was competitively priced.
The Plumbox team worked flat out to replace the old gas boiler and update the electrics on the 2 days we had requested. They left us with some heating overnight and were careful to clean up after each day. We are more than happy to recommend Plumbox for their professional service.

We needed to have a new central heating boiler installed due to the complete breakdown of our previous one. We selected Plumbox based on three key criteria: we wanted a supplier who was accredited for the boilers we were considering, preferably local as we believe in supporting local businesses and one that had good trusted reviews. Plumbox were contacted and came to see us promptly to look at our system and discus our needs. This was done and a quote provided soon afterwards, along with prospective start date and completion times. For comparison purposes we did get other quotes but having considered them all we decided to proceed with Plumbox. We admit that the fact they could complete the installation without delay helped.
An installation date and start time of 08.00 was agreed. It was good to see that the team arrived exactly on time and proceeded with the installation efficiently, cleanly and without delay. All went well, the friendly team showing great respect for our home and answering questions regarding the installation as they proceeded. By mid-afternoon the new boiler was installed and commissioned with the warm water proceeding to keep us warm again. Instructions on using the new boiler were given and a follow up visit arranged to hand over paper work relevant to the installation and to answer any questions.
Overall we were completely satisfied and can wholeheartedly recommend Plumbox.

Such a brilliant, trustworthy team. Friendly guys who explained everything without jargon so I knew what was going to be done. They fit us in when our boiler broke an hour into moving into our new house. They were efficient, neat and tidy. They did a brilliant job on the bits that others can be slapdash on (bricking up the wall and filling in holes) and worked really hard on it all. Such a positive experience and will 100% be using them again when needed.

Plumbox was recommended to me by a neighbour, and recently did some work renovating our bathroom, replacing a shower tray and cubicle, shower, some taps, bath panels, and so on. Michael was a pleasure to deal with. They did a great job. Bathroom now looks great. Would definitely recommend.

We contacted Michael after our (hidden) toilet cistern failed late one evening (8/8/18). He very kindly talked us through locating the stopcock feeding the cistern that very evening, and gave us the details of an online plumbing supplier, and the parts that we needed to order, next day. He then fitted the parts once they'd arrived, plus a new toilet seat that we'd purchased. Michael was quick, responsive, helpful and reasonably priced. Would definitely use again!
