We had an emergency where we had a slow leak causing a wet patch on our living room ceiling. I called in the morning and spoke to someone professional, and they arranged for an engineer to come out on the same day.
Andy arrived promptly, was very professional and friendly, and explained the problem in terms I could understand. He was able to fix the issue within the hour and provided me with some tips for the future.
I would recommend and will be using them again.

We're really pleased with our new bathroom. Glen and his team provided great service and quality of work. The breakdown of the works each day over the two weeks was really helpful. We'd like to give a special mention to Connor for his work ethic, standard of finish and cleanliness. Highly recommend and we hope to deal with Grand Union again in the future.

A Very quick and prompt turn around with these guys, called them Monday, and they came out promptly to take a look, order the required parts and returned. A fast and speedy service!
Update - Had a boiler replacement, took 4 hours and everything was left spotless. Really great work, british Gas advised a whole day with scaffolding work and none of that was required with these guys.

Grand Union plumbing & heating is the only plumbing company I'll ever use! Once again, they've exceeded my expectations. I had a broken thermostatic radiator valve in my daughter's bedroom and needed it fixed urgently before her return from university tomorrow. Marco arrived promptly within the scheduled time, was incredibly polite, friendly, and tidy. He clearly explained the issue and efficiently resolved it. My daughter's room is now perfectly warm, just in time for her homecoming. A truly excellent job, and a heartfelt thank you to Marco!

Needed an inspection done quickly of a hot water cylinder which had been flagged as a concern by a house survey we had done. Marco was absolutely fantastic. Carried out a full service, explained everything, and we had the report a few hours later. This was the second inspection we'd had to have done as the previous plumbers had been useless (different company). Marco also spent the time to talk us through a few other concerns we had and give us some idea of potential costs. Will definitely be hiring them to carry out the work once we've moved in!

Just had my central heating replaced, new boiler, radiators and pump replaced. The team were great, they turned up on time and kept me informed. Had an issue with the water circulating around all the radiators this was due to a build up of rust in the pipes from the previous radiators. Mitchell was like a dog with a bone to resolve the issue and it was all sorted. Thank You Mitch and

Grand Union do a grand job! They have been looking after the very quirky gas fired central heating system ( 19 rads) in our rambling three storey house in Stony Stratford for several years. Today, Andy was able to drain the system down, replace three TRVs and four corroded / leaky rad valves, and get the system back up and running with no air locks, all in a few hours. And left the place clean and tidy.

All I can say is amazing, it’s taken a while for us to get around to flooring, so it’s a bit late. From start to finish we had amazing service. We knew what we wanted and Grand Union Plumming were the only company who made us feel like they could help. Glenn helped with the design, and when we were unsure of tiles met us at the shop to help us out.

My shower cubicle needed replacement, as the door had jammed. Grand Union Plumbing & Heating had done some good work for me in the past and were my go to company. I asked them to look at a replacement. They were professional, clean and friendly, all at a very reasonable cost. The work was difficult for their bathroom fitter but it wasn't for me. My bathroom looks amazing and the shower is perfect!

My first experience with Grand Union was excellent. I enquired via the online form on their website and received a call from Mitch early the next morning. Later that afternoon he had diagnosed and resolved the issue that was causing my boiler to leak, and provided me with some useful information on my boiler, potential points of failure and how to spot the warning signs. With his help my ageing boiler will see me through another winter. I'll be asking GU to quote for a bigger project next year.

Grand Union have just finished installing my new boiler; replacing an ancient conventional boiler system with a combi boiler. Three days of professional work, carried out to a really high standard. GU has delivered again and I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you!

After several unsuccessful attempts with other plumbers to fix our thermostat for the underfloor heating and balance the radiators, we were relieved when Mitchell from Grand Union Plumbing and Heating came over. He installed the thermostat for the underfloor heating and expertly balanced the radiators throughout the house. The difference was immediate, and everything is now working perfectly. We especially appreciated how Mitchell explained everything clearly without any jargon. Highly recommend!

We had a leak from the loft into the bedrooms and our current emergency cover with Anglian offered an unacceptably long response time, leaving our home at risk of flooding. Thankfully I called Mitch, who quickly arranged for someone to come out.They identified the issue and repaired the pipe promptly. A transformation beyond words! I wont put a photo if the before because yes, it really was that bad! Having put off doing the bathroom for a number of years it was time for the bath to go & for us to get a shower put in instead. The bathroom before was in a horrific state, shiplap panels on all the walls with painted over mosaic tiles… horrendous! What Mitch & his team pulled off was beyond what we could’ve ever dreamed of. Every tradesman that came in was respectable, conscientious & incredibly hard working & worked together to ensure we had the bathroom we wanted, nothing was too much to ask. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would because they absolutely deserve it!

Fabulous bathroom installers! Super happy that we chose Grand Union Plumbing & Heating to install our new bathroom. Mitch, who heads up Grand Union, was very friendly and attentive as we talked through our design, offering sensible suggestions that complimented our design ideas well. He was then quick to provide a competitive quote and book us in. We had Connor fit our bathroom. Connor was fantastic - extremely hard working and meticulous; we knew everything was in safe hands. Moreover, he always took the time to clean up properly at the end of the day. Mitch coordinated the work outside the rip-out and installation phases and no suprise, he's got a great team of trusted electricians, plasterers, tilers and decorators that were also exceptional. All up, a really seamless process and we've got a new bathroom we're really happy with. If you're after a bathroom install do seriously consider Mitch, Connor and the team, we're already thinking about getting them back to do more work for us!

Marco was extremely friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable of his trade. If all of Grand Unions engineers are as efficient as Marco, then we can highly recommend this company for all of your plumbing and heating needs.
We'll definitely be using Grand Union for our next boiler service, and any other issues that might arise in the future.

Excellent service. Tomasz is very diligent and helpful and knew how to fix all our plumbing issues. You can arrange appointments and get updates by text and email, they are also very good by phone. Recently had a replacement boiler as our previous one was on it's last legs. Mitch provided us with a very reasonable quote in comparison with British Gas and helped guide us through our options. Always found other companies very pushy and seemingly trying to get as much money out of you as possible but that was not the case here, it was all clear and could tell the team just wanted us to get the best possible outcome which in our case saved a significant amount of money.
Very professional service and friendly team all round. Work was completed to a very high standard and extremely happy with the outcome. They even checked in a few days after the work was completed to make sure everything was still ok.

Mitch and all the guys are very professional and helpful. Unfortunately, I had a cowboy builder wreck my bathroom before Christmas leaving me with little facilities for a family of 7. GUPH worked really hard to get me a working bath and shower before the Christmas holidays. They are reasonably priced and a great team of people.

Excellent service received from Grand Union. They found my boiler was damaged (showed me all the faults) and did everything they could have to find a replacement. No hard sell, just honest feedback. Grand Union Plumbing and Heating were contacted by my landlord when I had no hot water. A pleasant, polite young man was sent around the same day. He had already correctly diagnosed the issue before attending based on the information I had provided my Landlord so had the correct part to hand and was able to fix the problem sharpish. We used Grand Union Plumbing as British Gas who we have a service contract with could not send an engineer. We were very pleased with the service provided. Mitch and Andy are really professional and so polite. They were incredibly thorough and resolved an ongoing problem we had with a leaking boiler. Their communication throughout was fabulous with a text message confirming the appointment and follow up message to advise when they were en route. We would 100% recommend Grand Union Plumbing.

Absolutely wonderful, from the day we arranged an appointment to the day our bathroom was finished. Mitch understood exactly what we wanted, listened, and made it happen. Danny our fitter went above and beyond and made sure that everything was perfect and went smoothly and the bathroom was finished perfect. the attention to detail was unbelievable, he was clean, tidy to the point we hardly knew he was there.
